Chinese Wedding Cabinets (sometimes also known as Chinese Marriage Cabinets) are so named as they were traditionally given as a wedding gift by the parents of the couple. The cabinet would act as the main storage for the married couple when they moved from their parents house. Traditionally wedding cabinets, had a ¾ height shelf, with a set of two drawers inside the cabinet.
