Visas

Please note that ahead of the Olympics in August 2008, China has tightened visa policies.

Foreign passport holders can no longer obtain a 3 day Zhuhai Special Economic Zone visa, upon arrival at the Zhuhai ferry terminal.   ALL Foreign and Diplomatic passport holders MUST NOW obtain a full Peoples Republic of China (PRC) visa prior to commencing their journey.  Please make sure there is a full, clean page available in your passport for your visa.  The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong can issue PRC Visas, This generally takes three days, and requires your passport and two passport sized pictures. China Travel Services (CTS) offer a same-day visa service.

Getting to Zhuhai

Ferry tickets for the Hong Kong to Zhuhai ferry can be bought from any China Travel Services (CTS) or Chu Kong Shipping (CKS) office.  CKS can be found at Shop 332 on the 3rd floor of the Hong Kong and Macau ferry terminal (Shun Tak Centre) in Sheung Wan or Shop 1-5, on the 1st floor of the Hong Kong China ferry terminal (China Hong Kong City) in Tsimshatsui, Kowloon.
